On the takeaway, my understanding is that when the left arm is at the 8oclock.

On the takeaway, my understanding is that when the left arm is at the 8oclock position, the club shaft needs to be parallel and the club face slightly toed in. Because the club is heavy, for this to happen you sort of have to push down on the butt of the club with your palm pad? Is this correct? Is this how you would recommend doing it?

Hello Krishna. The club will start to naturally set due to the weight of the club. It won't be very wonky to not allow this slight push on the palm/pad. In the 5 Minutes to the Perfect Takeaway you will here Chuck talk about this tiny amount of wrist set.
