Guys. So I play left handed as a natural right hander.

Hey guys. So I play left handed as a natural right hander. I am from Canada and grew up playing hockey as a lefty, so I started golf as a lefty. I have played for about 10-12 years. I have struggled to feel as if this is the side of the ball I should play from as I learned the mechanics of the swing from RotarySwing. My question is, would it be worth it to switch and attempt to learn a proper swing right handed? My thoughts are that it would be quicker for me to learn the moves as I have natural throwing motion engrained. I would also have the benefit of starting fresh and not having to overcome existing moving patterns. I would love to get your thoughts, inputs, experiences, etc on this one.

Hello Nicholas. Great question. The problem with switching sides has always come back to power. Players develop from an early age great kinematic sequence to produce energy. So, after the switch they learn straight very fast, but struggle with speed. With that being said, I have switched some players with success. And, with you already being a natural right hander. The switch could definitely bee a workable possibility.
