Both pro swings you show(DJ and JR) both have a tremendous amount of side bend.

Both pro swings you show(DJ and JR) both have a tremendous amount of side bend of their spine when viewed DTL and so much secondary axis tilt when viewed FO that their shoulder/hip/knee/ankle are no were near stacked vertical at impact. So two questions. 1) Is side-bend of the spine bad for your back? 2) Since neither pro has their joints stacked vertical at impact, just how essential is that?

Hello David. Excessive side bend is bad for the back. You want tot shy away from it as much as possible, but some will be a necessary evil you will move through quickly in the swing. Here is JR from FO on my system. He is stacked. Not all players are stacked, but some of the best and healthiest ball strikers you see will be.
