Enjoy the RS instruction and the effort to minimize swing thoughts.

Enjoy the RS instruction and the effort to minimize swing thoughts. I've been playing golf a long time, I'm a 10 hcp, 62 years old and in decent shape. Have just joined RS on 5/13. I do the Axiom Dead Drills at the office and feel like I get it. I go out to the driving range and make quite a few good swings there too. But when I play on Saturdays, I might as well be playing a different sport. I just go clueless and forget everything. The biggest thing that my golf partners notice is that it looks like I totally slow down and stop swinging through the hit. I know that the pressure is on and everything counts so is that just a confidence thing? Do I just need to chill, trust small progress each week and realize that it just take a long time to make changes to your swing?

Hello Joseph. Trust the small progress. It will take time for the newer movement patterns to be implemented on thee course. But, when venturing out. Try to take a least one item you are focusing on with the intention of accomplishing that move come hell or high water on what happens to the shot.
