Hey guys. I was just curious as to what the optimal grip would be for releasing the club properly. I've always interlocked. I was experimenting with overlap and it felt much easier to let the club release. I was hitting the ball a lot more consistent. Just wanted to get your thoughts on it!

Hello Nicholas. Both grips will have their pros and cons. I tend to favor lead side releasers to use overlap and trail side pushers to use interlocking. Overlap will make it easier to not dominant the impact area with the trail hand. Interlock can help if you have smaller hands and want to control the club face more with hands. I switched from interlock to overlap with RST as I found it helped make the release much more natural and passive for me.
