I'm really pleased with how C4 is translating into success on the course! Just completed Phase 1 and about to start Phase 2. My ball-striking has improved noticeably and on a handful of shotsI have felt that sense of effortless speed, much more to go at there :laugh: . I can't hit woods reliably so this season am just playing with my irons and driver. Played yesterday on a very dry course, so was probably getting maximum possible yardages, I was on the green in 3 on a 455 yd Par 5, and shots were going arrow-straight (see image).
Today I won our Stableford comp with 44 points, and a gross score of 99 (first time I've broken 100). Best shot today was a 130yd 7-iron, but some super 8, 9 and PWs landing nicely on the green. I also did some great bump and runs onto the green with my 7-iron, which ran accurately to enable a single putt - all I did was the standard C1 shot that I've done 500 times in the back garden! Looking forward to further improvement as I progress through C2 (I practised it a bit this morning without a ball) .
My index is 33 at the moment but that will be coming down. My putting lets me down so have invested in a new putter and will practice with it. C4 is a world-class programme for ball-striking mastery. Thank you all so much !
