Looking for suggestions as to how I might be able to fix my swing to prevent injury.

Looking for suggestions as to how I might be able to fix my swing to prevent injury. I have costochondral separation (rib separation, when the cartilage that connects your ribs to your breast bone gets separated) -- caused from the driving range. I'm not sure exactly what happened, but maybe a combination of rapid twisting, hitting the ground, not warming up, and going to the driving range too often :D I'd add that this happened while I was trying to add the backswing. I made it to phase 3 and can hit a ball straight about 130 yards most of the time doing the 9-3 drill with a 7 iron. Are there any recommendations on how to avoid something like this happening again? I'm currently unable to play for some weeks while my ribs heal up :(

You need a swing review. You're doing something aggressively very wrong that caused this injury and need to correct it immediately and need an expert eye to see what you're doing.
I had the same issue a year ago. I don't attempt to swing hard until I'm extremely warmed up physically. after I healed I took a few weeks to warm up slowly and test it out so it didn't happen again. I know how painful it is. I went to physical therpay and they were actual able to get some blood flow to that area which helped it heal a little faster.
