Good morning Craig!

Good morning Craig! Nice practice video for phase 2 again, really loved the axiom movement drill with the club you showed, it not only creates the right movement but also helps to relax hands and arms. As for you explanation about the flat left wrist here is something I worked out for myself and also teach to my students. I hold the club in middle of the shaft between my thumb and index finger in the 9 o'clock position, toe up, grip in front of my right tie. Then I place my lead hand, fingers straight, flat wrist in front of the grip, back of the hand pointing away from me. Then, in that position, I wrap my 3 last fingers around the grip and hold club thumb and index finger relaxed and free from grip. then take the right hand of the shaft and, in a rotating movement of the lead arm, place the clubhead behand the bal. Now your wrist is flat, back of the hand is pointing towards the target and clubhead is square behind the ball. Then move the richt hand on the grip. All I then do during the downswing is bringing the lead hand back to that position at impact. I would like your opinion on this, good or not so good, just for me to learn. Thanks for helping! Marcel

Hello Marcel. I don't think it is a necessarily bad motion/process to understand the feeling of the flat lead. I would probably have to see it before I give a thumbs up. But, I do comprehend this would be an easy way for someone to understand the goal with flat lead.
