Very confused after watching RST video "Left vs.

Very confused after watching RST video "Left vs. Right in the Golf Swing". In that video Chuck says you can hit with either side (Rahm beiing a right side player). Yet all other RST videos say we should hit with left arm/hand and the drills imply to me that we should develop as a left side player. Please help me understand. I am naturally a strong right side dominate person and I have struggled mightily at trying not to hit from the right side. Thus, Chuck's statement that we can be right sided has great appeal to me. But what videos should I emphasize for mechanics of hitting with the right side since most videos seem left side oriented? If I am misunderstanding all this, what drills can help me hit with left arm only as I can't do it? Please help me understand all this. Many thanks. Doug

Hello Doug. Both arms/sides have a roll in the swing. We teach predominately lead side drills/swing because players already over use the trail side too much. If you take a look at the Overview of the Push Release and Tape Drill you will find some handy dealings for the trail side dominant release. Not much changes. You still will use the trail side to power and lead to help control flight. You can see in the Tape Drill the difference in Chuck's swing right or left isn't that much.
