Craig and Anthony for your comments and ideas.

Thanks Craig and Anthony for your comments and ideas. Sorry for this long post but... So you both know what has happened, I made a post here on the forum a few days ago trying to figure out if using the Push Release could help me since I still have total right hand dominance and total lack of left hand control of the club. In response to that post , Craig asked me to post a Dead Drill video. Just after that post I did a swing review with Anthony. Independently he asked me to post a Dead Drill video. So I will post that very soon. Anthony you suggested the next step once I got the Dead Drill correct that we would start on C4 trial. What is the "C4 Trial"? Is that going through the C4 class? As info, I took the C4 Class and then practiced the Dead Drill extensively and then did only the short 9-to-3 drill for weeks (I know it is hard to believe given my awful results with still total arm, esp. right arm/hand dominance). But I have spent over a hundred hours on this and I am back at square one (more accurately, I guess I never got off of square one). And it's not like I am a clutz as I played on several high school sports teams of football and basketball and even tennis at next level. Thus, on the swing review I added a note to Anthony that I was almost at the give-up stage. So I will try once more. First I will post a Dead Drill video. Then we will decide what's next. Perhaps part of it is that I thought I was practicing correctly but I wasn't. And yes I have video and a mirror. I guess I need in person classes and swing reviews. One final point: before seeing the latest swing review, I noticed in my various videos that from the top of BS, I pushed my trail shoulder out toward the ball. Shouldn't my trail shoulder be moving down? I tried that (shoulder moving down) today and I hit the ball much more consistently and I raise up in DS much less than I have always done when pushing right shoulder out toward ball. Again, many thanks for helping me.

Hello Doug. I think the first start is a DEAD Drill post. I haven't seen your swing other than on a completed swing review. So it is tough for me to gauge how your movements are at full speed. Anthony I believe has you on the correct track. What I am gathering through the notes is Anthony wants you to get the body moving correctly first because he is seeing something amiss in the engine of the swing and then start with C4 Phase 1. Body movements plus impact. If you are moving your body well and can build up to a 9 to 3 it wouldn't make sense for the bad results as the meat and potatoes of golf is in the impact area. Trail side dominant/lead side dominant doesn't even factor in until the swing is much longer. You need to simplify your process. As you stated you have athletic ability and hand/eye coordination. The swing is simple with sequencing and I think you have gotten lost in the weeds with items that don't matter that much at the end of the day. Post a DEAD Drill then start with Phase 1. Don't make it any more complicated than accomplishing those goals first. Side note: The lead shoulder will work down as you rotate around the spine to maintain proper shoulder plane.
