I‘ve been playing golf for three years and have now joined you in order to.

Hi, I‘ve been playing golf for three years and have now joined you in order to give more consistency to my game. Having hit some 200 balls in phase 1 I realize that your concept seems to work - engraining is a good word ;-) … HOWEVER, from time to time my balls go 30-40° to the left (I am a southpaw) as if I hit them with the heel or toe of the club. As I can‘t video myself all the time (and normally the results are positiv: sound of having hit in the sweetspot and proper direction) my question is, do you have typical errors which lead to this effect? Sometimes I think the reason could be that my trail arm is not really straight with the club in 9 o‘clock position - could it?? Best regards from Germany, Stephan

Hello Stephan. Welcome to the club. Video is the best way to diagnose this issue. It sounds like you may be pushing with your trail hip into the strike or adding some shoulder spin. That would be my two ideas on why you have the left shot.

Hi Craig, finishing Phase one just another video. I‘ve now learned the tremendous effect of keeping the wrists straight (and not turning them) in the upswing - control of direction thus comes more or less automatically … What I need to further engrain is pressure shift to the front foot, but it is coming … :wink: :wink: I now proceed with phase 2 (unless you advise I shouldn‘t) All the best, Stephan
