Rotary Community!

Hello Rotary Community! I've just started with the power program. In my downswing, I know I'm shifting too late, casting, too much lateral shift, etc. But my backswing is bothering me as I can't fix my overswing (the club in the video is a 9 iron) Is it a classic case of the left arm being too active in my backswing or my wrists are too soft? Or maybe both?

Hello Shane. The wrists are too soft. However, start shifting back sooner and with the legs leading the way. You tend to lean with the upper half. Make sure the sequence starts from the ground up to lead the downswing. Also, Perfecting Your Golf Impact 4 of 4 Drill will help with backswing/wrist issue.
