Craig, I have been an RST member for more years than I can recall.

Craig, I have been an RST member for more years than I can recall. I feel like I understand the swing well but I cannot seem to fix my biggest swing fault (losing spine angle) no matter how much I work on it. Recently, I began having knee issues and it turns out it is a result of glute and hamstring weakness. That got me thinking that my issue isn’t my swing, but the lack of strength in my glutes and hammies. Am I on the right track? If I fiz that strength imbalance, shouldn’t it make it easier to maintaim spine angle?

Hello Leeric. Imbalance and weakness in glutes may cause early extension. Improvement in those areas certainly would help. However, there may as well be a function in the swing causing you to drive towards the ball. If you have a video happy to take a quick look here to see if anything else is leading to EE.
