In my transition I have been working on transferring weight to my lead side.

In my transition I have been working on transferring weight to my lead side, while keeping my trail shoulder back and then the hip turn brings the arms and club down. One thing I notice is that everything is on plane till transition and then my right arm moves away from the body as my weight is transferring and this causes a steepening of the shaft (cupping of the lead wrist). This ‘feels’ like a natural throwing motion (I see this with baseball hitters / pitchers) where the right arm moves away from the body to create more separation in their ‘transition’. When I do the throwing the ball drill I feel the same.. as my weight shifts forward my shoulder blade goes back and I get more separation between my trail arm and body. Should I prevent my right arm from separating and if yes how do I do it?

Hello Vikram. The trail arm gets a little loaded at the top and then internally rotates more as the transition starts. I would like to see you maintain a little more width during the backswing and when the legs start the transition the trail arm/elbow externally rotate to help shallow the club better. Trail arm only swings will help with the feel of this motion.
