Question on Dead Drill and Goat theory vs lead side release.

Question on Dead Drill and Goat theory vs lead side release. Is there a difference in dead drill motions? I think backswing is the same for both, the transition is also mostly the same, maybe a little more shift to the left side in transition for GOAT theory (Chuck”s latest video). Downswing is where I feel there are more differences? Is there still a post up in GOAT theory, where hips stop turning at impact or are hips continuing to turn? Also, do we have hips more open at impact (see 2 butt cheeks) vs 1 butt cheek for lead side release?

Hello Vikram. Both will have a deceleration in the hips in the downswing during post. You will tend to see the hips more open in the GOAT sided swing, but that doesn't mean you can't do that with the lead. Sometimes if you get too excessive with the hips using lead the club will be overly delayed in release. To sum up they are very similar in all positions. But, when using the GOAT since more trail side driven the hips can be a little more open and you can drive through the shot. The lead will need to make sure you decel so the proper release can take over.
