Attn Craig Pls see attached (via link) video. I am noticing some things that I believe need fixing: 1) I am not making anything remotely close to a free release. It looks to me like I am muscling the release with shoulders and arms. Playing with a friend in Tampa yesterday, was pulling a lot of balls to the left and they are mostly staying fairly low (line drives). Also, my friend noticed I was spinning out the right foot so that after impact I was basically facing the target. I am guessing this is due to right-side push but I will leave the analysis to you. What would be a good systematic way to fix what’s wrong, videos to watch, etc? Help!

Hello Jeffrey. I would focus on the problem below first. See picture attached. I would start with some trail arm only swings and get the movement back in sync. This is why you are muscling everything. Film a trail arm only swing. Same length. You need to allow the arm/hand/club to shallow with lag as you have leg usage. This is the main problem. Think like Phase 3 Trail arm only movements with body.
