I am trying to do the goat right release, but still drilling the left wrist.

Hi, I am trying to do the goat right release, but still drilling the left wrist release My question; At the top of the backswing the trail forearm bends so that the thumb pretty much points to the shoulder.( I think??) I think that I want to rotate it some other way, perpendicular to that plane,, away from the ball, also. Could you tell me if this is very bad, bad, okay, good, or very good? I Think it helps to get the trail elbow in front of the hip, and also sees to cock the swing little more. As you see, though, I have a lot of doubts, and want to stop itif it is counterproductive. Thanks, Bill Wierzbinski

Hello Bill. I want to make sure we are saying the same thing. Yes it will be pointed pretty much at the shoulder but (for right handed player) slightly behind shoulder if short of parallel. Are you saying you rotate more behind shoulder as in a clockwise fashion ala Axiom?
