Rotary instructors I’ve started doing this drill I Take an alignment.

Hello Rotary instructors I’ve started doing this drill I Take an alignment stick and place it in the ground and angle it so it’s over the ball. Then using my dominant eye focus on the ball keeping the stick on the ball and I close the other eye and I take a swing keeping the dominant eye focused on the ball and stick and with the other eye closed I just wondered if you would advocate taking a swing with one eye shut on the course?

Hello Ronald. No problem using the one eye on the course. If it helps you release and focus on the correct impact pattern it shouldn't matter. However, I would still put a little focus on how you load into trail hip and try for some more width in the backswing.
