Should we use a forward press as a trigger for all shots, including irons, long.

Should we use a forward press as a trigger for all shots, including irons, long irons, woods, and the driver? Or is the forward press only applicable for putting, chipping, and pitch shots? I set up with some shaft lean already, so the press increases the lean even further. I also would appreciate some clarification on ball position for different clubs and shots.

Hello Sunny. You can forward press for all shots. But, don't think about it as solely arm movement. What we are looking for is to get the body/fascia structure alive. This movement will start to become very micro as you refine. With irons/driver (other than short game). You should barely catch the push forward to trigger the backswing.
