I recently started and so I’m in the putting section.

Hello, I recently started and so I’m in the putting section. However, I have started using the grip and setup when out playing as I did yesterday. Had some nice impact on drives which was very cool to see that work instantly. Irons, however are being flushed but left. I’m a trail side dominant person, and would think that normally think that opening up the hips more would be the cure. But with this program I’m getting the sense that thinking about opening the hips more isn’t the approach. Any thoughts on what I should do? When it occurs it’s both a start left and a draw. Thanks! Jim

Hello Jim. The hips do need to open but not to the degree some players try to make them rotate. Sounds like you need to check and make sure you are getting enough supination. Also, not spinning the shoulders a little late in the downswing causing a pull draw.
