To Anthony for your review of my most recent submission.

Thanks to Anthony for your review of my most recent submission. I'm hopeful your advice will enable me to address basic issues which have plagued me for years. As a follow up, if I freeze a practice swing at the top of my backswing I can open my hip back to square without moving my shoulders or arms at all. I don't get any driving force at all. The "rubber band" is slack. Once I get the hips back to square the rubber band is taught and the shoulders and arms get dragged along. Is that the way it should be? When should the rubber band tighten up?

Hey Ross, opening your hips does add to the “rubber band” effect, but your first move in the downswing should be the lateral weight shift or pressure into the lead leg. As you shift to the lead leg, your arms should still be finishing the backswing. That is both sides of the rubber band being pulled! I would practice your transition with a continuous dynamic movement. It’s hard to stretch the rubberband with static positions
