Hi Craig, anytime is ok with me & at least once a wk or couple times a month would be good resource to touch base & share feedback, thoughts... I've got an old school question? Best way to get into NJA? I tend to still early release & trail arm still a little stuck at GDP. I've narrowed it down to several causes, 1) lead side-core/upper body being tilted too far back causing lead shoulder to bottom out early 2) poor position trail arm at top of BS & 3) which ties into #2, not enough trail arm supination causing to much trail arm to early in DS...want to get to NJA without too much R side push or L side pull while getting core/belt buckle forward at impact. I'm primarily a lead side swinger. Sorry if TMI.. Thanks, Mike F.

Hi Craig The Q&A sessions have been invaluable. Really helpful and clear explanations of where we can go wrong and how to correct. Anytime is fine for me as I have to watch on catch-up here in the UK. Fortnightly sounds good, but no less frequently than monthly. Thanks ahead! Diane
I really enjoy the Q and A sessions! I have learned a lot! I like the current time, format, and amount of time for the session. I would like to do them at least twice a month or every week if there are enough questions to do so. I agree with another comment that they have been invaluable!
If there is any way to do a different night that would help me. I watch after the fact, which is good, but would be great if I could attend "live." Sessions are great. Hearing and seeing is helpful. Thanks for your work!
Hey Craig, just wanted to say again how much I value these sessions! They again are extremely helpful and good. I really appreciate you repeating things too as I know you get some of the same questions but for some reason when you go over it again I get it when I maybe didn't so much the first time. I think sometimes you may answer it slightly differently too which helps but even if you give the same answer repeating it is also very helpful so thank you so much for your patience in doing so! I also thought something that would help is if we could get a list of the questions with time stamps so we can quickly go back to questions we are interested in and maybe cut down on you having to repeat so much unless we just don't get it still of course. Again than you for your patience with going over things several times. These session are very good supplements to the videos on the site and definitely further our understanding of the swing and what we should be doing! Thanks again!
Hello Craig, Can you please explain away what appears to be a major contradiction as I see it in the whole GOAT code instruction template. I have heard it said many times by you and Chuck that the arms are "not supposed to do anything", but the whole system is predicated on first learning to use your "right arm" to swing the club...then there is the whole idea of supinating the club with the arms, hands and wrist, something that's also dependent on the arms at least to some extent. So how then it is that the arms "dont do anything"? I just don't understand this contention. Can you please address this for me?
Craig, I also have a question about squishing the bug/using the trail leg to pivot. I showed this technique to a local instruction recently, and he cautioned me about it because he said that it would lead to early extension. Can you please address this...how does one ":squish the bug" and not early extend?
Thanks for the recent webinars. Some questions for this week. Last Wednesday you spoke about your takeaway - getting your right hip back and shifting weight. Very helpful because I don't think I've ever loaded into hip. Can you go on from there and describe the rest of the takeaway to the top? In addition, could you come closer to the camera and show all the wrist positions - supinate, extension, etc. I know they all make perfect sense but when you don't know them, it takes a while to learn. In addition, would you show how the clubface relates to each of the places in the takeaway? When you get to the top, I have trouble relating to what is closed, open, etc. Makes sense once you are in GDP, but at the top, it's hard for me to relate the clubface to open, closed, etc. Thanks.
Hello Craig, I see that rotaryswing follows athletic_motion_golf on Instagram. I have the following questions: 1. Is everything they say true about the golf swing or how much stock can we put in what they say about it? 2. It sounded like they basically say that you should not supinate in the downswing which I know contradicts what rotaryswing says. More specifically though they say not to move the right elbow in at all in the downswing which is part of supination of course. They say it should move straight down and not be in front of the right hip but in the side of it. Seems again contradictory to rotaryswing. Is that right? 3. They also say when you shift your pressure over in the downswing that you don't do it by pushing with your right foot to get it over which again is what I understand you are supposed to do based on rotaryswing videos. They said based on force plate data that the pressure doesn't get over there when you do that. Am I missing something here? Thanks!

Hey Craig. Was wondering if you could talk about pace and tempo as it relates to increasing distance. For instance in Chuck's 160 yd shots with an 8 iron, Chuck increases distance by swinging faster, but maintains his sequencing even though, and I'm assuming here, his tempo is faster. Is there a thought process to making sure things don't breakdown, or is it just a matter of having the technique clean and then practice, practice, practice?
Hi Craig. Watching the Creating Torque video, the trail foot moves back on the downswing to stop the hips moving and to allow the wrists to snap. But how do the pros manage to have their hips way open at impact if they do this, for example Sheffler?
Hey Craig, for your next webinar, would you give us your thoughts on Goaty and how we should best utilize that platform, if at all? Does it make sense to use Goaty if we're working through progressions with you, or another coach, as an unlimited reviewer? For my specific case, I'm rebuilding my swing, so it would seem that I should stay solely with you at least until I'm back to working on my full swing. But, I'd like to hear your thoughts. Cost I'm sure is a factor for some of us, so if you could share your thoughts for those of us that can budget both and for those of us that could only swing one or the other.
Hi Craig, I’m trying to reconcile two pieces of instruction about the trail leg. In some GOAT videos you talk about the trail glute going straight back and the trail leg “straightening” in the backswing. But in other models (Hogan’s umbrella image, and your 104° trail-leg angle vs Tiger) the trail leg stays angled in and doesn’t go vertical. Can you clarify what you mean by the trail leg “straightening”? Is it hip extension with the knee still flexed/angled in, or should we actually be letting that leg get more vertical? I want to make sure I’m copying the right feel in my own swing.
Craig, I’m unsure where my leading edge should be at setup. My habit is to forward-press first to feel my impact position, and in that moment the leading edge is square to the target. But when I move back to address, the face ends up looking slightly closed—around 11 o’clock. I’m noticing more compression and ideal launch, but I’ll also get the occasional hook. Should the leading edge be square at address, or slightly closed if that’s what helps me get into a better impact position? Any guidance on what’s correct in the GOAT Code pattern?

I am struggling with making the improvements I thought I make at this stage. I've been through the Goat Code, I've done lessons and I have used Goaty. I get the concepts and the drills but they don;t seem to be translating. Should I go through the Goat code again? Do I just keep doing the drills? I'm 65 so my bad habits are deeply ingrained!
I've seen two recommendations on the site: throw the club from the top or near the top versus throwing the club at GDP position. Which is it? Or is it one fluid motion? And, the word "throw" implies active arm movement rather than passive motion driven by the core, which is a bit confusing.
Will you demonstrate the torque bridge drill? What to concentrate on and what not to do.
This one's for me. Could you do a review of how to turn into right side (in my case) without tilting - getting into right hip. How do you keep from picking up the club with arms overactive? Is there any lateral movement with the hips or do they just go deep. You have explained before but a face-on demonstration would be great. Thanks.
I understand and support the new to keep the information and IP associated with your programs secure and confisential what I find frustrating is that watching the videos on my iPhone while I am trying to swing is really challenging. Even if I had used an iPad the screen is relatively small, especially if I am standing 6-10 ft away with a club in my stance you have chosen to focus on the content and videos vs an “app”. Adding another platform is time consuming and expensive so that choice makes sense i am not sure I understand why however, we can NOT use mobile device tech like casting or airplay to project on a larger screen. This would make it so much more practical and impactful for the user community (in my opinion).
Craig, when you put your lead side dominant swing into Goaty, what does it say?
Craig, regarding "screwing" your Trail leg into the ground for right handed golfers. Must say I am confused on this, with most recent videos Chuck is saying "The Fix: Trail Foot Torque: Instead of turning your chest or lifting the club, I want you to feel like you're twisting your trail foot into the ground — counterclockwise for right-handed golfers (toward the target)." Is this counterclockwise looking straight on at Chuck , or counterclock wise if I were doing it. All the Axiom stuff says keep everything Clockwise, feet, legs, hips, arms, hands . I do it clockwise, this puts pressure towards the heel of my trail foot, driving my trail hip back and my sternum lowering, If I do the pressure move counterclockwise, it drives my trail hip towards the ball. I understand the fascia sling theory, but I get this stretch when I rotate my trail foot clockwise. I must say,,,,before making the backswing move, I do put counterclockwise "pressure" in the trail foot, clockwise"pressure" lead foot at address to "grip" the ground. But, the start of the backswing I am using clockwise rotation/pressure in the trail foot. Just trying to be more athletic vs technical
