I appreciate that the concept ‘feel’ and not technicality.

I appreciate that the concept ‘feel’ and not technicality. But, I think it’s going to be quite difficult initially and in trying to to ‘feel’ the movement, i seem to be pushing from my right side as well as pulling from my left. Is this me being unsubtle in the movement. As everything before this is a ‘pull’, does this small foot movement contribute to weight shift or am I being to violent with my foot?

Hello Colin. Most players have been too stagnant getting off the merry go round. You might be a little to active. But, not uncommon to feel the pull of the lead hip open the the aid of trail foot toe push to further the lead hip's progress.
