Chuck, I am wondering how to reconcile this movement resulting in the pressure.

Chuck, I am wondering how to reconcile this movement resulting in the pressure travelling clockwise around the right foot with your earlier Rotary Swing instruction to pull the weight forward onto the left foot by pulling with the muscles on the inside of the left thigh, as pushing from the right foot was likely to cause standing up and consequent loss of posture.

Hello William. You are using the orbit generated from the pressure moving in the trail foot to start moving the weight over. You aren't trying to move the weight going back and then push the toe to force weight transfer and posting. The weight will have already started shifting back to the lead side by then.
