RST et al, I have a question about muscle stretch or perhaps pull.

Hi RST et al, I have a question about muscle stretch or perhaps pull. In my weight shift or the post up (I’m not even sure where exactly) I’m getting a strain up my inside left leg, I’d say hip flexor to below knee in range. It’s not all of the time but I know this isn’t normal obviously. It’s caused me issues last season, but I can’t understand what I’m doing to cause this. Trying to stay grounded and maintain easy flow in the swing but I’m causing some to happen. The name of the game is fun without injury. Thanks!

Hello Jason. You might have pulled a groin, or strained inner thigh adductor. If you take a look at Which Muscles to Feel in Golf Swing Transition and Preventing Hip Pain. You will see the group off muscles that aid in the weight transfer. See if it is those. You may be over activating them, or just need a little break until healed.
