Hi Craig. Thanks for the review and the advice which was, as ever, very helpful. Just to check - I am trying to use my weight shift to sync my arm drop so that once I've moved I can then pull my left hip back, then up which will allow me to maintain lag and then release the club through impact. Given my hands are only just above my shoulder at the top of the backswing can you gave me an idea of how far they should have dropped by the time I have finished my weight shift? Thanks, Neil

In your case with backswing length it will be just below lead arm parallel to the ground. We are just trying to sequence to where the emphasis is maintaining, creating and releasing the lag versus getting bound up and feeling like you have to rip the body.
