Great site and excellent instruction.

Great site and excellent instruction. Question - at the top of the backswing there is 80% weight on the trail foot. Does this weight go back to 50-50% as you transition to square and before you post and transfer your weight to your posted lead side? Thanks

Hello Peter. The vast majority of weight transfer will happen in the transition. You can see a great description in the Tour Pro Downswing Sequence Drill. As you start completing the backswing the weight will start to shift back towards the target with the goal of getting 60-70% back on to the lead side during transition. You want to make sure during the vertical/post up phase you don't have to shift the majority of your weight.
