I am having a problem hitting thin.

Hello, I am having a problem hitting thin. How do I post up without it raising my body (which I see by watching my head in the mirror)? In the post-up, the left leg straightens up, and my address position is with slightly bent legs. So it seems obvious that the post-up is going to lift everything up at impact, hence the thin hits. Does this mean my spine angle needs to steepen at release to compensate?
