I have been using the DEAD drill for nearly a year now and feel that my.

Hi, I have been using the DEAD drill for nearly a year now and feel that my swing looks good but consistency is still a major problem especially hooking the ball. I feel the set up is fine as is weight shift and my tush line throughout the swing. Manny taught me to keep the right arm straight in the backswing which has helped to turn my shoulders and that has also helped pitch and chip shots, stopping me from being too "handsy". Craig recently told me to try the "9 to 3" drill but when I hit balls I feel I'm always battling hitting them left. I went to the driving range last week and found that the only way I can hit straight was to pretend there was a marker about 50 yards ahead and I had to swing as if I wanted to hit right of the marker which involved feeling like I was keeping the club face slightly open through impact. This worked almost immediately and the hooks disappeared. When I got to the course I had mixed results with some great iron and driver shots but badly pulled short irons and fairway wood shots. I have experimented with swinging dominantly with my left hand, but again, mixed results. One thing I tried was to spin the left hip out of the way quickly at the start of the downswing and that worked great for a while but didn't last. I have won a matchplay competition this year which is great but my handicap is the same as it was at the start of the year, 21, which is very frustrating as I can hit some top quality shots but the hooks can kill a good scoring round stone dead. I have no swing reviews left and could do with some advice as whether I should renew Rotaryswing in December as maybe I have gone as far as I can with the system. Regards, Lee.

Hello Lee. Can you post a swing here? The hands are obviously doing way too much. And, typically this is a trail hand fault. Also, the path for the big hook is usually too inside. Before I help or aid with the decision I would like to see the move in it's current form.
