Friends ( I hope that doesn't offend anyone :-) ) I decide to join Rotary T.

Hi Friends ( I hope that doesn't offend anyone :-) ) I decide to join Rotary T swing after countless hours watching numerous yourtube videos from a lot of "gr8 Coaches" and getting completely Screwed up with the latest tip. I have unsubscribed from them all and decided to concentrate on RTS because I decided it made more sense then the rest and I am not dissappointed yet... I am appreciative of the detail and the attention to detail --- mostly with the "how" ... it make so much sense. Thanks to Craig for my first review of my quick start drills. Craig Morrow... very precise feedback... I really appreciate that. You recommended a few drills... spot on & I am very keen to do them. I think I am starting to refine a few things. I am starting to get it that I need to allow the hips to lead the downswing and let the upper body to follow.( 3000 ++ reps to get this on auto pilot - I read the Talent Code - fantastic book BTW - thankyou!!!) QUESTION: In the transition & post up how far does the left hip move --- feel wise and in real? I know my problem is that I lose all the tension before transition and my head was too far back. Now that is more centred and I am able to maintain the tension from the backswing I can hold it but I am not sure if I am sliding the hips too far forward now? It all feels different and I am not used to it yet... but I will be soon :-). I am looking forward to your comments. :thanks: :smile:

Hello David. Happy to help and glad you enjoyed the review. The hips will shift roughly the width of the pelvis in the swing (6 to 8 inches). Most amateur's don't shift enough because it may feel like sliding or swaying. However, if you perform the motion correctly you will not get too far out of bounds. Take a look at Preventing Hip Pain and Learn Perfect Weight Shift in Your Socks for some added help with lower half shift/sequence.
