Could you please clarify the weight shift on the right foot in the back swing?

Hi, could you please clarify the weight shift on the right foot in the back swing? Axiom says that I should follow the perimeter of the right foot from 12 to 6 (and then back to 9). But if I bring my weight to the outside of my right foot (say at 3) I tend to sway and can't build up as much pressure as when I would resist from the left half/inside of my right foot.

Hello Stefan. At first you exaggerate the feeling of the perimeter movement to understand the clockwise pressure shift. In real-time the pressure shift movement is much smaller. You don't require a movement so far to the edge that the foot would roll off the ground. It is a quick movement. If you solely stay on the inside of the trail foot however, you won't be able to create the orbit/generator to get the knee and hip working correctly.
