Craig I’m practising the compression drill, mainly focusing in just trying.

Hi Craig I’m practising the compression drill, mainly focusing in just trying to stay connected and let the body movement drive the swing. Looking at these videos (7 iron) I can see my right arm is bending too soon, but overall shape and tempo look better than they were and I was getting good ball contact. I also tried some bigger swings and was getting cupped left wrist at the top which went away when I focussed on keeping right arm straight for longer. Grateful for your insights and advice. Diane

Hello Diane. I agree the trail arm needs to be better in the takeaway. But, the main thing bothering me is the transition. you can see that the arms start versus the weight shift. The weight hangs back on the trail side too long. You need to get thee weight shift first/sooner in transition so the arms can stay relaxed and shallow out.
