This question is in reference to the GOAT SWING.

This question is in reference to the GOAT SWING. When we are doing drills we start with our feet close together make our backswing then step and throw the right arm. Would this sequence work with your actual driver swing on the course. Seems like taking a small step forward would help with transferring your weight to your left side. If anyone has tried this please let me know if it worked or not. While doing drills like this it seemed like I had more balance, better weight transfer and more club head speed. thanks tye

Hello Tye. The sequence is the same for all the clubs. It will work with the driver. The step may cause some timing issues when trying to hit an accurate shot. Some players will go from the step to just lifting the heel (lead) in the backswing to get the same feeling without so much movement.
