Craig I managed to get a face on video at the range today.

Hi Craig I managed to get a face on video at the range today. Working on left shoulder protraction to get width and also some right arm throw. Swing feels ‘bigger’ and is shallowing. Hit 123 carry (159 overall) which is good for me. Good straight ball flight. Now that the shallowing is ingrained I can get back to focusing on weight shift and the release, both of which are a long way off where they need to be. But I feel I’m making progress, and all the GOAT videos are really well explained. I think I’m moving to a trail side swing driven more by width as it seems easier than trying to max out rotation or leverage.

Just remembered I also videoed driver swings in the garden on Saturday (no ball) down the line and face on. I had been practicing the backswing with club and hands moving along the parallel alignment sticks. Swing felt more ‘free’ than it used to. Apologies for less than ideal camera angles!
