Hello Nick. Not exactly what we are looking for in phase 1. Thanks for the submission though. Minimize the head sway in the backswing, ball position off lead ear, and work hard to get the hips through before over working the arms coming down.
Hey Nick, For what it's worth, what I see is that on your backswing you are straightening your right leg and allowing it to move laterally. This is obvious by looking at your right foot roll to the outside, This allows you to make a big shoulder turn, but unfortunately it doesn't activate your right glute. The only power source then, is your arms, resulting in casting, with a flip release and a slight chicken wing follow through. Watch Chuck's video "The Laser beam Drill" to eliminate the lateral movement of your right knee, and try to maintain more flex in your right knee. This will feel like your swing is shorter, but I think you will get more power as your swing becomes more leg driven. Good luck.
