All, Chris, thank you for the swing review.

Hey all, Chris, thank you for the swing review. Awesome stuff. Chris was saying I need a bit more lateral movement and a better weight shift. I have a question for Chris, another instructor or anyone else. My question is what happens with my head? I thought my head isn’t suppose to come off the ball. Is a lateral shift purely happening with just my hips/legs while my head stays still. Or is there a bit of lateral head movement as well? I’ve always been confused by this....like, how do you shift laterally while still saying “on” the ball? Thanks!

Hello Brandon. You answered your own question. The head can't stay perfectly still and have weight transfer. The head sway drill is to calm down excessive motion. A little bit of head movement is to be expected because you would be shifting weight if it didn't without having funky changes to the spine.
Craig is ninja like with his responses!!! It's perfectly okay for the head to move an inch to an inch in a half in the backswing. We expect it to, otherwise you setting yourself up for reverse pivot and sacrificing one of the most critical parts to start the downswing...weight shift.
