Craig, you said you had been working on getting your weight to the front foot for like a year. What was your issue and how did you work on it? I have an issue pushing too hard with the right side from the top and sliding into the ball with my weight falling back. Great when the timing is on, not so much when it's off. Also, Goaty told me that part of my issue getting the sling all the way to my left shoulder might be limited thoracic mobility. Is there a way to test for that? Thanks!
Hi Craig, Can you tell us something about grip pressure left vs right hand in chipping, pitching, wedges, full swing? Does a trailside dominant player has more grip pressure in right hand vs left hand? Can you give this in percentage? In chipping you must ‘feel’ the clubhead; if you feel the clubhead with your trail (right) hand should the anchor of the swing still be the left leg? Please discuss in webinar and would you ask Chuck to make a video about this issue? Thank you.
Hi Craig Please clarify this notion of pivoting around the lead leg vs weight shift. I assume this is not the old “stack and tilt” where they promoted staying on the front side the whole time. Also, please clarify this front leg focus va being trail side dominant (assuming we still are). Thanks, Gerald
Can you please go over coiling around the trail side and spiraling around the lead side? Are they both for the sling method? Do you do both at the same time? It seems like if you lift your lead heel while spiraling around the lead hip you may lose tension/facial stretch? Thanks!
Hey Craig, can you recommend some drills to help with sequencing through the downswing. Through unlimited, you have me working on a one handed swing to making sure I get weight shift and drop my arms before rotating through, which is helping, but it's been a bit inconsistent. Anything else I can add to help with sequence consistency would be great.
Please demonstrate how the fascia stretch “release” creates the sternum drop during the downswing. I get feedback that my sternum drop is 0/100 because there is not enough stretch/lengthening of the fascial to create the sling to pull my sternum down. Also please explain how the sternum drop movement doesn’t lead to crashing the club into the ground behind the ball.
