Chuck, I've watched all of your videos. However being left handed makes it a bit harder but that's not the issue. I totally agree with you about tigers swing and have been practicing just like you did with that one student vevek. You have him basiclly flipping is wrists at the bottom of the swing or as he puts it throwing a rock across the water. Then I go back and watch the videos on the pressure plates and dynamiclly moving from one side to the other, which seems to have nothing to do with trail side dominant which is what I have been practicing. Little help here putting both concepts together, because I remember you saying to vevek, once you get you hands moving at the bottom every other part of your body will follow. ??? Little help here. Paul

Hey Craig, just getting back into RST. I’ve recently experimented with other methods and my right arm is slowly taking over with significant problems. I’d like to get back to my left dominant swing bc I’ve never been cleaner than when I was simply focused on lead side. Can you recommend a video path to that end? The website has changed so much over the years. Thanks!

Hello Todd. C4 would be the best bet. Especially Phase 1 and Phase 2. Those will be primarily focused on 9 to 3 motions with good lead side control/plus release. That's where I would start.

Hello Vincent. Unfortunately we had to remove the self analysis software. It was Flash based and most browsers went away from supporting the platform.

Good morning. I have a couple general questions about your site. 1. Is there a general comment section to send comments, questions, ideas, and feedback, etc.? My second question sort of relates to this. 2. Do you have search function or directory of Learning/Teaching videos? For example, is there a learning/training video where you're teaching a person a bunker shot? Or a pitching shot? And so on. Maybe it's there, i am just unaware of it. Thanks.

Hi, should I start with the intro section on the dashboard and just work my way down; or start with Phase 1? Thanks Andy

Hello Andrew. Welcome to the site. Yes. You don't need all the videos in the intro but Setup and understanding the science of learning will help before starting Phase 1 journey. Also, a sing review is the best way to get the program tailored to your needs with specific video references.

Just joined earlier today. History - I joined Rotary Swing when it first started (2004 or 2005, I believe). It was primarily teaching Jim Hardy’s One Plane Swing. Then , all of a sudden, it switched to RST, which was a totally different swing - all left side dominant. Over the past few months I watched some of Chuck’s new Axiom philosophy — all right side dominant, which I prefer. So I became a member. Because of the weather, I can’t get outside today and practice the new right side swing so I watch several of the videos. I’m shocked that at least 9 out of 10 of the videos are just a rehash of the RST swing from 15 years ago - all left side. Where is the right side dominate teaching you’ve been promoting? Very disappointed so far.

Hello Dean. Left and Right have always been on the site. Lead control and trail for power. Regarding the new GOAT Theory. Click that category on your menu screen under Phase 4. We will have lots more content detailing trail side release/GOAT Theory. Also, if you go to the Menu Tree (Top Right) and click Legacy Axiom Dashboard. You will see 3 Large Sections devoted to a more right sided approach to the swing. We have over 20 videos detailing Axiom which will walk you through like the DEAD Drill and 5 Step using more the trail side to help drive the swing with feel.

Just joined a couple of days ago and have gotten more from this site and program than anything else I've ever done. Can someone explain to me the difference between the C4, Axiom, and Rotary Swing Academy programs?
August 8, 2023

Craig (Certified RST Instructor)
Great Bill. happy to read you are enjoying the site! C4 is a blend of 5 Step Program-DEAD-Axiom. Everything bottled into one formula. Axiom is a trail side (more feel) based movement. Rotary Swing Academy contains the clinic videos and other drills to provide a clinic experience without attending one.

Hi. I'm new to the program and I am just trying to understand the progression. I've watched the C4 Introduction video and I am stepping through the video's under 'Learning'. I noticed that 'The Dead Drill' was listed under 'Introduction' tab as well. Is this the time I review these videos? Do they need to be viewed prior to 'Setup and Grip' and 'Phase 1', etc? Do you recommend that I watch all videos under the different tabs under 'Introduction' before progressing? Thanks!
June 7, 2023
64x64
Craig (Certified RST Instructor)
Hello Timothy. You aren't required to watch all the videos. The knowledge will help but not a requirement. My recommendation is get the Setup/Grip and Start with Phase 1. Dead Drill, will be intertwined in the Phases to help you along if you struggle with a certain aspect of the main drill.

i don’t understand the overall progress bar chart. what do the different colors (blue/yellow/red) mean? What do the numbers on the x (horizontal) access mean? 5,10,15, 75 etc
April 30, 2023
64x64
Craig (Certified RST Instructor)
Hello Dermot. The color is a play on an RPM meter for a car. The algorithm is determining how best you are progressing. The numbers on the X-Axis are also detailing the number of practice sessions/perfect shots mixed together. Higher the RPM the more you are starting to repeat quality shots/reps.

I think i missed how to move from phase 1 to phase 2. Is it a 10 of 10 shot without any tendencies?
April 16, 2023
64x64
Craig (Certified RST Instructor)
Hello Patrick. As you plug your data into the dashboard. The algorithm will determine your next course of action and when to proceed. You have to do a certain number of sets, but you don't have to be perfect across the board.

This website is the best instructional program that exists. Hands down. It can be overwhelming because there is so much information but it is all useful and TRUE. I've been using this program on and off for years now and after just some small time commitments I've saved my lower back, my knees, and I have dramatically improved my ball striking. I have a long way to go but im all in for this program.

Hello Mark. I would be happy to help you with the confusion. There should be a pop up video when you first log on that explains the process with AI and the videos. After the Introduction you should start with the setup category if need be, or hit the ground running and click the Phase 1 video.

Hello. New to Rotary Swing. Been a member for about a month. I have hit rock bottom lol. Playing the worst golf of my life. A lot of times I will hit it great on the range and then hit balls off the hosel or toe throughout the round. I am ready to go all in on Rotary Swing. My question is: I’m what order should I watch these videos? Secondly, I thought I heard you say in one of the videos that you can do all of the drills inside and don’t need to even hit balls. Any help on what all videos I should watch and how long I need to do each one? Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Craig (Certified RST Instructor)
Hello John. Glad to have you aboard to help you with the swing. I would recommend a swing review so one of our instructors can tailor your plan. That way they can provide the drills specific to your need. Drills can certainly be done indoors. The DEAD Drill you can perform in front of a mirror daily until you can move the body and club into the correct positions. Take a look at Should your Play While Changing Your Swing Video. It will detail the repping and how to go about the process. I would start with getting your setup corrected and working on your body movements (DEAD 1 -3). Then, hit the ground running with C4.

Thanks for the info. Can you think of any reason why I would hit the ball really good on the range and then consistently start hitting balls off the heel after just a couple holes. I realize there has to be a mental aspect to this, but wasn’t sure if this is something you have seen much before? This makes me feel like I will never swing well on the course again lol.

Craig (Certified RST Instructor)
Hello John. There is a mental aspect to course playing versus range. I see below the Clamshell was recommended. Losing tush line/early extension is one of the leading culprits to the heel shot. I would start with correcting that leg work.

On the C4 dashboard there is a column chart with 5 to 200 on the horizontal axis and Phase 1 to Phase 4 on the vertical axis. How should we interpret that chart?
June 20, 2022
64x64
Chuck (Certified RST Instructor)
The bottom line is the distance of your 7 iron in yards that you are seeking in each Phase. In Phase 1, the goal is only 10-15 yards, but in Phase 4 there is the possibility to move all the way up to 200+ yard 7 irons for those who are seeking to get to that level.

Chuck etal Been a member for some time and C4 appears to put it all together well. I’ve started 1 and will go to 2 today just to see where I am. Unfortunately I head to Vail tomorrow for a lower back fusion. I will test C4 by doing the drills in my mind for several months and then head to the range when cleared by surgeon and PT. Gives me something to look forward to and gives purpose to rehabilitation. Thanks.

Glad to see a new program once again acknowledging the need for reps (neuroscience , etc). Big believer in your coaching on the subject. Haven't seen it elsewhere. Also, please consider adding drill(s) for lead side release. I'm a lefty playing from the right and the throw the ball drill is problematic for me and (I assume) most lefties playing from the right. Thanks.

I think the Axiom program is amazing, but realized pretty quickly that I was overwhelmed with the amount of content- regardless of how well structured it is. As consistency is the only way to improve (process focus instead of outcome focus), I have wanted a program that would not only show my 'how' to improve my skills, but what to do to get there. Golf pros are great at giving lessons, but I have never once had a pro create a practice plan for me. This C4 program seems like the structure I've been looking for.
