I've read literally thousands of emails from all my members and the one thing people want more than anything else is consistency. This is the exact routine I use that builds on everything you've learned to groove your swing before a round of golf or just when things get a little off. I reinforce the checkpoints and feelings so that you will make better compression, have complete control over the club face and trajectory of each and every shot. Solid and consistent contact will be your reward.

At 4.28 the R Shoulder is really low and L Sh high. Has that with the posting up and/or momentum to do?

Hello Gerd. As you allow the trail hand to stay on you will have a little more secondary axis tilt. To stay in posture you will see the shoulder plane steepen just slightly. This is a position you won't stay in very long during the swing.

Great video. I used this yesterday before my mens league. Which we only play nine holes and went out shot 36 or par for our course. I’ve taken all kinds of lessons in my life but this the berries I’ve been looking for. I’m a 12 handicapper and to go out and do this in a week’s time is mind blowing. No swing thoughts to hold me down is unreal! Hope this gets better which I’m sure it will. I’m 65 years old and out driving my younger buddies and it feels good to hear they’re reactions. Oh and my neck is also fused in C1,2,3,and 4. Plus my left shoulder has been operated on. Thanks Chuck, your the best teacher ever.

Great demonstration. I am curious how many golf balls you've pounded into those trees. I used to have a 30 acre potato field in my backyard. The farmer used to joke with me that he sometimes had some white spuds in his harvest. Thanks again for the great demonstration....will definitely try to incorporate into my prep in the spring.

Hello Gerard. Lots of balls. However, Chuck and the pooch go hunting them on the side of the mountain for retrieval. If I ever find a golf ball in my potato. I know who to call .

Hi, I notice Chuck doesn’t take divots in this video. Why? The only divot I seem to take is in front of the ball. Obviously i need to correct that. Rather take no divot than one in front. Thoughts?

Hello Richard. The more aggressive with the post up you will get a divot. Typically, when activating too much trail side it will steepen the AOA causing a steep divot. You should be taking very shallow divots when releasing correctly. Watch: Angle of Attack Video.

Can I do the same excercises for the driver or I have to change something. Please some tips!

R.J. (Certified RST Instructor)
The driver can be used with the same swing as your normal swing with the clubs that you hit off the deck. However, if you do choose to do the standard RST swing with a driver, you'll have more backspin, less distance, but more accuracy than you would if you made the adjustments in the bomb the driver series on the site, providing both swings are done properly

Thanks for the demo. I like how you stay with 5 balls at a time and get that right before moving on. (It’s so easy to get distracted with another swing thought.). So, before a round, you only hit 5 irons? Or do you go through the bag. If so, what’s the sequence there? When I go to a PGA event I try to determine their routine. What’s your sequence with putting, etc. Thanks.

Hello Clark. Lots of players have their own unique routine which works for them. Chuck typically goes through his bag like this: Lob, PW, 8, 5, 3, 3WD, and Driver. Glad you liked the video.

Thanks for this video Chuck. I've now used it a couple of times with great success. One thing that you don't specifically mention is the rhythm that this routine instills from the get go. I for one cannot swing very quickly using my lead side arm by itself and this seems to set my tempo for the rest of the routine. Once my trail side arm is added and I begin to ramp up the length of the swing I maintain the tempo which is of course a great help with timing and my transition. Thanks again I love it!

Helpful video. I noticed Chuck slightly rotates his head on the bs. Is that a fundamental to RS or a variable?
