a little too much weight on the back foot in the downswing and release. Positioning the ball a little bit further forward will help you move forward a little bit more, which will give you a cleaner strike

The weight on the trail foot seems to be a recurring issue that’s mentioned however I feel like I have close to 90-100% of my weight on my lead side both at setup and during the rest of the swing. Do you have any advice on how to help with that?

Pivot your core to face more toward the target through pelvic thrust/spinal extension. Your belt buckle should be closer to the target than your sternum and this will move the weight further forward

Ignore the sloppy hands, just focussing on my body movements here. Is this the right idea?

Yes a lot better. This rotation well hope you keep the club face square longer

Currently working more on this feel today and I think I’m understanding it better. It’s a different feeling for me but if I’m doing it correctly then I feel like I’m tilting back/getting into sidebend through impact and I’m feeling that tennis forehand feeling you’ve mentioned. Am I on the right track with this?

Yes exactly. It’s sidebend and then sidebend.

Before I move on, I would like to know what you are concentrating on when you are putting and chipping. What I mean is, do you concentrate on the front of the ball, the middle of the ball, etc... like something when my fairway woods are off a bit, I will leave a gap in between the ball and club and concentrate on clipping the grass right behind the ball to get my groove back.

I don't think about anything like that. I just see the ball and hit the ball. If you find that something more specific works for you, go for it, but I've never done anything like that personally
