Hi, when I swing the club with just my lead arm, it seems that I post up and open my hips correctly almost automatically. In fact when I pull with just me lead arm without my rear arm on the club at all, it seems even if I try I can’t screw it up. Does this make sense or is this another “what you feel isn’t real?. Thx very much. Oh, these live lesson videos are great. Tremendously helpful.

Hello William. Glad you like the Live Lessons. Yes. Doing the swing lead arm only can make a lot of the movement automatic.

Great lesson Chuck. Lessons like this are so good because they show the "Right way" with the pro examples vs the "Wrong way" when compared to a student. Light bulb just went on.

I found the beginning part of this video very interesting. But I am a little confused. How is that move that the pros do not considered a closed hip slide?

Hello Mehul. The hip is still rotating. The closed hip slide you would see much more lateral movement without any rotation from the hips.

Hi Craig, These playing lessons are really good . However I am trying to find the video where Chuck explains the slight move of the body toward the target prior to the backswing . I recall he described as a move pros make that amateurs are not aware of. I tried it and liked it but cant remember how its done. Can you please help -

Hello Ian. The lesson above starts talking about the starting the downswing before completing the backswing. Slight move towards the target prior to the backswing? Could you elaborate a little more? Or, go to Video Menu -- Latest Videos to see the current list.

Hi Craig. It was a different video . My recollections are; Posted about 3 to 4 weeks ago: referred to the shoulder blade glide -facilitated it I think: After taking stance first move in the backswing : slightly opened up the hips and knees toward the target but so slight that it was not perceptible even from down the line ie hips and knees still looked to be in line with the target line: showed what it would look like if the move was grossly exaggerated: I tried it once or twice ,liked it and made a mental note to go back and incorporate it later. If you happened to have watched the video you would recognise it from the above comments . Hope you can help( maybe ask Chuck).
