This was helpful, I am also having problems with distance. Is it possible to keep your shoulders square too long? I feel like I clear my hips but my shoulders are turning late causing a poor release (chicken wing ). Thanks

Hello Richard. You can keep them square for too long. But, typically the chicken wing is over active trail side. Sounds like you do need to work on the release motion. 5 Minutes to the Perfect Release would be helpful.

Great video! I am someone who try’s to create speed with the hands and arms. I really got to feel the top of my body staying passive at the start of the down swing and let that speed release at the ball. Thanks Jose for sharing!

Great video with Jose! The video highlighted what is happening in my swing and gave me a path to correct what I am doing with my hips and weight shift. I got that mirror and it first showed me my head moving off the ball, Made a big difference right away....Thanks.....Dennis Hansinger

A swing without the legs working correctly is exactly like a car with no engine.

Hi Chuck, I went through the boot camp and now have been working patiently with Craig Morrow with one on one lessons. Like Jose for years I was only using my hands on the transition. My transition is now MUCH better and Craig and I are now fine tuning my set up. Looking forward to slowly adding the club. I have years of ingrained bad habits. With your Rotary Swing method and Craig critiquing my video downloads yoda’s quote, “ patience if you want to be a Jedi,” is now ringing true. Respectfully Tony P., Chicago,IL.

It's great to see guys with a simiar build as myself, the video reminded me to move the left hip back as apposed to just a slide to the left, Great work Jose and Chuck

Thanks for sharing Jose & Chuck. Been RS for 10 months. Amazing results. Dropped 6 from hcp no prob. Hitting dead straight on everything. But lately, W-8i, been losing 20 yards in distance. Dead straight, but higher and higher. Hybrids and irons long and straight. Jose’s problem is my problem, especially w short irons. I have always fought sway. Now, on short irons, working so hard to maintain angle of right leg on backswing, losing my weight shift. This helped. I need to go back and focus on weight shift again. Like tossing medicine ball with short iron swing. Thanks.

Its pretty easy to get “lazy” with the shorter clubs and not make a turn and just use all arms which will lead you to flip, hence the higher ball flight. Turn your body with a wedge just like you do a driver, just a little less

Been doing the same thing with an explosion swing with the arms. Only thing that helped was to think of the release as flinging the club toward the target. If I try to fling the club it forces my lower body to place the club down in the right area so I can get a speedy fling. I know it sounds weird but not being natural athletic, normality the brain takes over and casts the club to hit the ball.

Hello Frank. I get worried when you "try" to force something. May just be a feel vs real thing with you though.
