Great video Chris. I knew he does keeps his foot down like that but i don't know how he does that even with a driver. I can do it with every club in my bag now except the driver and three wood. I just want you to know i am hitting the ball so well right now its ridiculous. That isnt meant to sound like i'm bragging. I just want to show my appreciation for your swing reviews, and also Craig's comments and just everything in general. Still like letting my right arm come off though and pounding drives out there with a draw (which my uncle thinks is hilarious). I live in Korea so I can't play cuz its so hard to get on courses here, but I hit balls everyday. It's actually almost like an unfair advantage to work on your swing if you do that for a year. I really want just want to say thanks again. What do you think I should do when I go to the range now?

Hi Nicholas, Glad you enjoyed the video and really excited to hear how good you are hitting it as well. I would just keep reinforcing the stuff you have been work on and continue to send us reviews, so we can make subtle refinements as needs. Keep up the great work. We love to hear success stories like this for sure.

I'm not sure if this is the best place to ask this question. However because my question has to do with ball flight, specifically pro trajectory I figured this will do. I would like to know what has to be executed in the swing in order to produce a penetrating line drive ball flight in which the ball seems to float in the air until it reaches its apex and drops. All tour pros produce this flight. I've seen PGA , LPGA and champion tour players hit the ball with this penetrating flight. Unlike most amateurs who have more of a bell shaped curve flight. Also what is the best way to achieve this flight ? Thanks, Joe V

Hello Joseph. It is all about lead hand control into impact. Take a look at Knuckles Down and the first 4 videos in the 9 Days to Amazing Ball Striking Section to understand controlling ball flight trajectory.

Hello Joseph. No problem. And, any time you are in my neck of the woods (Orlando, or Atlanta). Would love to help you continue your swing build.

I have a question regarding the comment Chris made here about the lower body pulling the hands and arms down during the beginning part of the downswing. I hear a lot about keeping the upper body quiet during the downswing transition but then I become confused when I see videos like the throw the ball drill which makes it seem that the right arm should be thrown from the top of the swing. If the lower body is doing the work then when exactly does the right arm get thrown?

Hello Sean. If you throw the trail arm straight from the top you will lose your angle too soon. The trail arm does add speed in the swing, but it mainly needs to help you retain the angle coming down into the release position. Take a look at the Golf Swing Release Drill and the Step by Step Right Arm Drills. The lead arm will be the driver of your car as the trail will help you maintain the angle and add a little more pop.

Chris, I'm wondering: does the right foot staying passive result from some other good fundamentals or is it a fundamental itself that causes other good things to happen? I ask because I find it very difficult to get there and I know it is critical. Thank you

Sorry Mike, not sure how we missed this question. It can be either or really. We can use the right foot to help eliminate problems in the swing or you can see that once ingrained that the right foot just reacts to what the left side of the body is making it do. Again, sorry for the delay on this.
