In this video, I'll show you an awesome swing transformation from a member of the unlimited review groups on Rotaryswing.com. I'll show you how valuable the unlimited review process can be in building the swing of your dreams.
- Get stable in the lower half.
- Load the trail side and rotate properly
- Create a wide swing arc
Hey everyone, This is Rotary Swing Instructor Chris Tyler and I want to take some time and show you a real student success story that we've recently had here at RotarySwing.
com.
This is Dario, He is part of our unlimited review process and he's done an absolutely amazing job in rebuilding his golf swing.
You can see over here on the left hand side of the screen, This is where he came to our group at May of 2014.
And this is on the right hand side of the screen as one of the more recent golf swings.
When Dario came to us, we had to focus in on a few different areas that we had to make sure were perfect.
And that's one of the great things about the unlimited review process is that we want to take things in really small pieces, make sure they're fully refined, Make sure they're fully ingrained before we stack in the next piece.
And having an instructor to guide you day in and day out during this process is absolutely critical for success.
And Dario did such a great job of taking everything that we threw at him.
And you're going to see quite a few differences here.
So, you know, from a face on perspective over here on the left hand side of the screen, you're going to see that.
We've widened the base just a fraction.
We worked on just a couple of different set up changes and then one of the big areas we also focused on was rotation.
You're going to see the old Dario here as he moves to the top part of his golf swing.
Okay this is the top part of the move here you're going to see that he's very limited in rotation.
Lower body is becoming really unstable.
If you watch this lower body throughout the move you see that lead knee dip, The right knee starts to turn away, and then he's actually increased axis tilt at the top part of the move here.
He's got a lot of secondary axis tilt.
And now the big change here, watch this as he starts to load up to the right, makes big rotation.
Now you can see this big wide turn out of the shoulders, he's got 90 degrees of rotation.
He's actually created more width in the hands and the arms as well.
He's got the club to travel a little bit further, which in turn he's going to be able to leverage for more speed.
So what we did was when I saw the original golf swing that he sent in in May.
Is.
I looked at it from a big picture perspective.
And I said, Okay, we need to reprioritize things in your move.
We want to be able to, the goal is that we need to have a really stable lower half, we want to be able to load it and unload it, and then we want to be able to rotate properly around that base.
And, you know, that's the whole mantra behind the rotary swing is that we want to be able to have a big body turn and small arm movements.
So with that said, We got his focus to be right in that lower body stability in the setup stuff and then we got into a proper, We got rotation really nailed down and then we slowly started to put the hands and arms back to the mix.
And in turn, he's been able to develop a beautiful looking downward move.
I'm going to show you a little bit of here.
He's increased club head speed pretty drastically.
So you can see as his hands are starting to approach the trail thigh, you can see all this lag here.
And then I'm going to go ahead and reverse up to the top here.
Now watch how he starts his downswing sequence, you can see him sitting left here, unwinding the hips.
Really, really great move there.
And then the hands and arms are starting to get down in front of the right thigh.
To where he can start to release this golf club properly and have max speed at impact.
Whereas before, from this shorter move, because he didn't have full rotation, he was really hand and arm involved, lower body was really unstable, he would start to push and throw the club very early.
So you're going to see these next few frames as the hands are starting to get down in front of that trail thigh.
You can see this club way down here.
Now he's basically running out of speed or running out of gas there in the hitting area.
So from a big picture perspective and an instructional standpoint, we had to take and dissect the golf swing and go after the most detrimental problems first.
And that, again, that's the beauty of the unlimited review process, that makes it a really invaluable tool.
And we can give you step-by-step guidance day in and day out, making sure things are really, really good.
We can answer all the questions that you may have.
And in turn, you can be the next great success story like Dario here.
All right, guys, so let's get out there and play some great golf.
Let's make it a great year.
And I look forward to working more with you in the future.
