What do you guys generally see with someone who has long arms and upper body? I'm 5"11 and my wingspan is 6"3 and my torso is an average length of someone who's 6"3. I'm just wondering if this plays a significant role in any part of the golf swing? Thanks Wrist to floor is 29".

Hello Jordan. Sometimes there are a little adjustments here and there. If anything you might setup slightly higher in posture to not get top heavy over the ball with proper arm position.

Do you all workout suggestions that would help facilitate the proper body positions throughout the swing? For example, I have bigger chest and shoulders which inherently has my posture more rounded forward. Given the set up videos, it tends to be difficult to get in the right spot.

Hello Michael. Some adjustments have to be made for genetics. They goal is to get as close as possible with the position keeping that in mind.

Martin I have recently rejoined RST having spend the past year with hamstring problems through running. So running is now out and I am ready to go for golf. Prior to last year I got myself down to around 5 handicap for a period of a few months. I can remember that your impact stuff helped me massively, playing right handed but actually being left handed poss helped. So the question is : to achieve forward lean we have to have the shaft before the ball at impact,,,,no worries there...but the strange thing for me is that if I think of trying to get my club head to the ball before my hands I hit a great shot and I am assuming that what I feel and what is happening are not the same? The explanation BTW of how to take a divot with the focus on the left arm is superb. I very rarely took a divot before so keeping the right arm soft works well. So is this feeling of getting to impact by swinging clubhead and feeling it is ahead of the ball something you have come across before? Great site, glad to be back!

Hello Martin. Welcome Back! Sometimes with a driver students will say that they are feeling the club head and arms swing pass the chest at impact. Maybe the club head being slightly ahead. I'm assuming in your case since you understand shaft lean. It's more of a feel versus real issue. You are probably releasing properly which is providing the speed, but just the sensation that the club head is beating the shaft to impact.

Perfect summation of golf instruction... I have been that lost puppy moving from theory to theory... You Tube videos, to Perfect Impact, to RevolutionGolf (5SK), to Wisdom in Golf to here. I believe I found the answer here. In the short time I have been at this site, I have increased markedly in my golf swing. I am now 100% committed to RST, the video analysis' from Craig and practicing every day on these concepts. Loving it!

Chuck, I have recently joined RST and couldn't be happier. I am a high handicapper and have tried just about every "aid" out there mostly without success. I am now encouraged that I have finally found a way to actually improve my game in a safe and manageable way. Thanks for the opportunity to learn the game using biomechanics; I am excited and now need to let my brain follow your path rather than jump around which is one of my downfalls. I am a lefty and am hoping that you will bring your two day seminar to the west coast.

Chuck, I am soooo happy that I found a biomechanics driven golf program. I am returning to golf after a 27 year hiatus. My swing back then was based on Nicklaus. But I never knew why things worked or didn't work. Karate training taught me how I learn best. I prefer input from a variety of sources so I can decide which method is right by analyzing the moves in great detail. I was using biomechanics. So I began on the same journey trying to find the best sources in the golf world. Things have changed in 27 years and I was being told that "square to square" was the way to go and a "rotary swing would hurt me." Your site is nirvana for me. I don't need a gazillion sources because I now can learn from your program the correct way. There is indeed a right and wrong!!!
