How to add your lead arm back into your DEAD Drill
Once you can do all three key steps of the dead drill all we need to do is start stacking on the external pieces the arms and the club and we do that first with just the lead arm so what you want to be able to do before you get to this step is make sure that you can do the entire dead drill with just the body perfectly every single time and then start stacking in these pieces so for doing the whole thing we're going to do backspring and check the right hip and left ear shift it over squat to square post up perfect if I can do this we're golden we're ready to stack that lead arm on there so now all I'm going to do from my setup position is just let my arm hang down nice and freely naturally nice and relaxed and I'm going to make the exact same move so I'm going to turn my rib cage to the top make sure I've got weight loaded on that right ankle my arm just kind of swings up nice and freely to the top squat to square post up when you post up your hand should finish just in front of your trail leg thigh this is perfect because from here all we'd have to do is release the club so the trick is the golf swing for a consistent and powerful and safe swing is driven by the big muscles so you don't need to do anything with your arm once you stick it out there just relax it let it hang out squat to square post up whole golf swings done if your arm ended up in the same positions as mine when we add the club you're going to be amazed at how easy you start seeing that your club is on plane you have a lot of leverage in your swing and as you start putting all these pieces together you're going to see how the swing is going to come together very very quickly
